Heavy Construction Foreman

- Provide hands-on leadership for a crew focused on heavy highway, bridge work, water treatment, and other industrial and commercial construction projects
- Enjoy consistent full-time hours up to 45 hours per week with a good work-life balance. Jobs are within a 75-mile radius - getting you home every night. Very little weekend work.
- Work a mix of private sector and prevailing wage jobs
- Lead & mentor a crew of 2-5 members, promoting a safe and efficient work environment
- Manage project timelines & costs and clearly communicate potential delays or issues
- Perform layout and surveying tasks in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Communicate daily activities, project goals, and safety procedures to crew, subcontractors, and material suppliers
- Serve as clients' main point of contact, keeping them informed of progress and proactively addressing any issues
- Read & interpret blueprints and plans, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain job site safety in compliance with OSHA and company standards; consistently promote safety across all team members and subcontractors
- Keep accurate and organized project documentation using the tools provided (iPad, company phone)
- Help crew as needed to ensure project success
