A local IBHS team is looking for Mobile Therapists and Behavior Consultants to work with children & adolescents in Berks County. The MTBC position is ideal for mental health professionals passionate about serving children, adolescents, and families. This position will introduce, practice, and review positive coping skills and respectful, assertive communication skills. Working directly in the homes, schools, and community to provide mental health services to students.
Our Ideal Mobile Therapist/Behavior Consultant:
- REQUIRED: Master's Degree with at least 9 credits in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- 1 Year of full-time experience providing mental health services/therapy directly to children and adolescents OR completion of a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- REQUIRED: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet your clients
- PREFERRED: Licensure in one of the following: LPC, LSW, LCSW, or BSL
- Willing to provide supervision to Therapeutic Support Staff
- Detailed, organized, and timely with paperwork
