Address maintenance needs promptly and effectively to ensure the hotel's facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming.- Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Respond quickly to guest and staff maintenance requests to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure reliability and perform routine tasks like replacing filters, greasing equipment, and inspecting systems.
- Maintain clear records of completed work and maintenance schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and address hazards such as slippery floors or broken equipment.
- Assist guests with room issues professionally and courteously.
- Manage tools and supplies, reorder as needed, and stay within budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance.
- Enjoy a flexible schedule, primarily working 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with minimal on-call hours.
- Travel between two nearby hotel properties to maintain high standards.

The Hotel Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in checking the property's safety, functionality, and overall upkeep by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and promptly addressing maintenance concerns. Our Ideal Hotel Maintenance Technician:
- Experienced: 1-3 years of facility maintenance or similar experience (hospitality experience is a plus). Proficient in using hand and power tools, with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred but not required.
- Problem-Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Independent & Collaborative: Able to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team to get the job done.
- Hospitality-Minded: Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing a welcoming experience for guests.
- Good Communicator: Clear and professional in verbal and written communication, fostering effective collaboration.
- Physically Capable: Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., working in confined spaces, on ladders, and in outdoor conditions. Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
