Plant Maintenance Technician

  • Maintain & repair grader machines and related equipment to ensure smooth processing operations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, visually inspect equipment, and address wear to avoid future issues.
  • Collaborate with QA Technicians and USDA Graders to meet food safety and compliance standards, including SQF requirements.
  • Order parts, maintain inventory, and assist with installing new equipment.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe while maintaining repair tools and shop areas.
  • Work Monday through Friday (approximately 5 AM to 3 PM) with occasional Saturdays
  • Stay flexible by cross-training and supporting maintenance needs across other farm areas when needed, and work late or start early when emergencies and equipment shutdowns occur.

We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role involves maintaining and repairing egg grader machines and related mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance in our processing facility. Our Ideal Plant Maintenance Technician :

  • Experienced : 2 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, or electrical work. Familiarity with power tools is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Tech-savvy : Has basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to Learn : Open to gaining new skills and applying innovative concepts to improve equipment performance.
  • Team-oriented : Works effectively with others, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace.
  • Communicative : Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
  • Problem-Solver : Demonstrates a basic understanding of maintenance troubleshooting and repair processes.
  • Physically Capable : Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods in a demanding work environment.
