Responsibilities:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods
- Work with subject matter experts and identify the training needs of the target audience with a goal of facilitating learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, job aids, etc.)
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
- Evaluate materials and propose improvements to the development and delivery of program materials to management and the client
- Develop framework for self-paced training and implement approved framework throughout the project
- Create online training course content to include PowerPoint presentations, lab-based exercises, and quizzes and tests to ensure information retention
- Update course content based on customer direction
- Closely track contract deliverables, ensuring assigned items are delivered in a timely manner
- Develop customized courses as required
- Assist in the migration of classroom training to an eLearning environment
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience
- OR A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience may be substituted for an Bachelor’s degree
- Three to five years instructional design, delivery, and instruction of courses
- Proven working experience with instructional technology; experience with Articulate Storyline 360 required
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM)
- Experience developing learning assessments and measuring the effects of training
- Basic HTML programming knowledge
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience using collaboration platforms such as: SharePoint, JIRA, MS Teams, and DoD 365 Teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of DCWF (DoD Cyber Workforce Framework) courseware development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policy and guidance
- Strong understanding of application security principles
- Knowledge of DoD Networks and Application Security and Development STIGs
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policy and guidance
- Tools utilized during assessments (e.g., SCC, STIG Viewer)
- Must have an active DODSecret security clearance
- Experience with cyber operations and cyber security supporting in at least one of the following areas: network design and support, operating systems administration and security, application administration and security, operational procedures
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex technical content and present it simply and clearly
- Knowledge of Adversarial Tactics and Techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain)
- Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices
