- Prospect for new opportunities.
- Develops a pipeline of new business opportunities for assigned accounts and leads the capture effort for identified opportunities.
- Develop successful capture plans.
- Oversee opportunity pursuit from qualification through award.
- Ensures disciplined capture and business development process implemented and followed.
- Nurture strategic partnerships across industry.
- Responsible for proposal development team high quality proposals
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with management of complex capture efforts for prime federal contracts.
- Knowledge of various contract vehicles, schedules, BPAs, OTAs, SBIRs/STTRs, IDIQs, etc.
- Must have demonstrated experience leading prime captures of single award contracts
- Established track record of winning work both at the task and contract levels
- Candidate must have experience and be comfortable supporting all phases of acquisition from initial marketing and communication planning, to proposal development and submittal.
- Broad experience working inside the DoD with emphasis on Training, Human Capital and Cyber/IT
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required
- Self-motivated, independent thinker who requires minimum supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
- U.S Citizenship is required. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees. Posted Salary Range: USD 70,800.00 - USD $194,570.00/Yr
