Part and accessory Manager has the primary responsibility to make sure all customers receive consistent, timely and accurate service when purchasing replacement parts and accessories for vehicles including ATV, Snowmobile, Motorcycle, PWC, Sport boats.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Parts Manager is responsible for maintaining in-store presentation of the Parts Department and showroom of apparel, cashiering and the till. In addition, responsible for incoming calls and returning calls in regards to parts and phone orders. Responsible for stocking and ordering parts. Maintain parts area in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Handle any customer concerns or questions. Maintain an ongoing education program, classes provided by manufacturers and vendors, along with displays to meet certification requirements. Placing initial seasonal orders, maintaining inventory control, and working with other dept needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred background with Parts / Inventory Control
- Previous experience with retail desired
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent follow-up and task completion
- Attention to detail
- Must be clean and well organized
- Positive attitude & great work ethic
- Communication skills are required
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Must be able to work in a shop environment and maintain a positive attitude under daily pressures. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers. Take initiative, follow through with deadlines. Must have great customer service skills. Must be able to drive a vehicle, and have a current driver’s license. Must be comfortable with working in a team environment consisting of customers and employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and kneel. Must be able to lift 15-50 pounds consistently. May be regularly exposed to dust, odors, and noise.
