Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Project Manager to oversee and coordinate facilities projects across multiple client sites statewide. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of facilities operations, and the ability to manage projects effectively from concept to completion. Travel within the state is required to support client needs. - Planning, executing, and managing facilities-related projects, including renovations, maintenance upgrades, and new installations.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Developing and managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet client expectations.
- Conducting site assessments and providing recommendations for improvements or required actions.
- Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Monitoring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and client-specific requirements.
- Tracking and reporting on project progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Establishing and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and ongoing partnerships.
If you:
- Are confident making decisions.
- Can hit the ground running.
- Have 5 or more years’ experience in project management, facilities management, or construction management (Required).
- Have an Associate or Bachelor degree in project management, facilities management, construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Are proficient in project management software and tools.
- Have a strong knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and maintenance processes.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel statewide with potential overnight stays.
