The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and services for people with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services.

Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Support Analyst- Atlanta
Pay Grade: K
Job Summary:
Reports directly to the Director of the Office of Incident Management and Compliance (OIMC) while also providing assistance to the Assistant Directors of OIMC. Responsible for development and maintenance of a high-quality tracking and reporting system related to construction and design feedback for the build of Behavioral Health Crisis Centers (BHCCs) for 988. Supports Leadership in administrative tasks including but not limited to development/editing of training documents or presentations, recording of meeting minutes, calendar management, running data reports with associated visuals, and assisting with internal HR actions/documents. Provides additional support where needed to the various units within OIMC. Travel is required around the state to support the team conducting on-site visits with providers related to architectural plan development and construction progress for the BHCCs. The amount of time varies based on the project status but is generally less than 25%.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Support the Crisis Certification Team in monitoring progress with architectural plan development and construction progress for the BHCCs and other related builds.
· Develop and maintain a tracking system to effectively monitor project progress.
· Develop and maintain an effective, succinct reporting mechanism to provide written feedback to architectural and construction progress, based on feedback from the certification team either in person or in hybrid meetings.
· Record accurate and relevant meeting minutes.
· Support Leadership with calendar management, including scheduling interagency and inter-department meetings.
· Complete, track, and organize HR documents (e.g., critical hire paperwork, personnel action forms, job descriptions)
· Develop or edit PowerPoint presentations or Publisher type documents, resulting in professional and accurate outcomes.
· Run routine/ad hoc data reports and compile the data into digestible visuals for presentations or sharing with stakeholders.
· Travel with the certification review team and/or OIMC Leadership for site visits for the BHCC and related projects, as needed.
· Manage provider communications through a shared email box.
· Communicate effectively and professionally with providers and other stakeholders, DBHDD offices, and divisions.
· Represent DBHDD professionally during all interactions with providers and stakeholders.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DBHDD behavioral health and/or developmental disability services
- Experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders, including with the DBHDD provider network or similar
- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project Management experience
- Ability to work across multiple, unrelated projects/tasks at a time
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Previous administrative assistant experience
- Attention to detail
