DESCRIPTION: |
The Director of Workplace Training will be responsible for the administration, development, and implementation of Integrated Education and Training (IET) and Workplace Literacy (WPL) programs and management of the budget for these areas. Major duties include overseeing instructional activities for IET and WPL programs, developing and implementing a variety of IET career pathway and WPL programs, and managing grants, budgets, and expenditures for these areas. |
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: |

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
· A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university *and* five (5) years of experience in management and/or adult education. · Strong managerial experience and demonstrated effectiveness in working collaboratively with faculty and content experts. · Experience designing and implementing innovative approaches to training and/or instruction. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: |
· A Master’s degree. · Three years overseeing IETs in adult education or relevant experience. · Knowledge of information technology and instructional strategies. · Experience managing program grants and budgets. NOTE: Applications will be screened at the preferred level. Applicants must meet both the minimum and the first level of preferred qualifications to be considered for this position |
SALARY/BENEFITS |
$60,000 - $65,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position with paid state holidays, accrued annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Health and Flexible Benefits Program. |
