What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly Part-time Administrative Assistant position at Team Georgia Careers?
Purpose of the Position: This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties. Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties which may be involve access to confidential information. Discretion is important. Assists in the operation and planning needed to complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns. Coordinate’s calendar, meetings for internal and external settings. Provides administrative support to the Administrative Assistant Supervisor to Deputy Director and team. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties.
Essential Functions (include, but are not limited to):
· Provides administrative support to the Administrative Assistant Supervisor and other Department Directors
· Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
· Ability to change direction on a task seamlessly
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 (GST050) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: : Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands: General office environment. Light lifting.
Salary Information: $20.00 Hour | Part-time | Up to 29 hours/week
