Job Overview:
The Aircraft Inspector is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and compliance of aircraft through thorough inspections and evaluations. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation regulations, technical knowledge of aircraft systems, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work closely with maintenance personnel and other departments to uphold safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed pre-flight, post-flight, and routine inspections of aircraft to assess their condition and airworthiness.
- Evaluate and verify compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
- Review and analyze maintenance records, logs, and reports to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Identify discrepancies, malfunctions, or wear in aircraft components and systems, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure proper repairs and modifications are carried out according to established standards.
- Conduct special inspections for modifications, repairs, or alterations as required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and practices.
- Stay current with industry regulations, safety practices, and technical advancements.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, ensuring timely submission and record-keeping.
- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and audits to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance .
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
