Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Manager to oversee our maintenance operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. As the Avionics Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing avionics systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades for Boeing Business Jets. You will lead a team of avionics technicians and engineers, ensuring all systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all avionics operations for Boeing Business Jets, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of avionics technicians and engineers, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
- Coordinate the installation, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems and components, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and industry best practices for all avionics work performed.
- Develop and implement procedures for avionics testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in avionics technology and ensure integration into current and future projects.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and budget for avionics components and tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics management, with a strong focus on Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) avionics systems.
- Extensive knowledge of avionics systems, including flight control, communication, and navigation systems for business jets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth understanding of FAA regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
