Overview
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Aircraft avionics and a passion for aviation technology.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and schematics
- Utilize coordinate measuring machines and calipers to ensure precise measurements
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for avionics system design
- Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) while performing maintenance tasks
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain avionics systems
- Conduct root cause analysis on avionics system malfunctions
- Proficiency in using Ohmmeters for electrical testing
- Experience with AutoCAD for avionics system design and troubleshooting
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft avionics systems
Skills
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of avionics systems troubleshooting techniques
