Sales and Marketing Assistant

Position Summary
HornerXpress Worldwide is the global exporting company of the Team Horner Group, supplying quality U.S. brands to over 100 countries all around the world. We’re inviting qualified candidates to join our dynamic team by applying for the position of Sales and Marketing Assistant. The right candidate for this position will be an efficient, proactive team player who enjoys working with a diverse team on varied assignments.
Key Responsibilities:General Administration
- Answering telephone and directing calls, greeting visitors
- Filing, file maintenance and management of office supplies
- Preparing monthly team meeting presentations
- Ensuring literature racks are organized and updated and common areas are tidy, stocked and in order
- Utilizing software programs including ERP/Dynamics 365, Word, Excel and Outlook effectively
- Liaising with Accounting, Logistics, Warehouse, and other teammates
- Assisting with organizing meetings, including scheduling conference rooms and catering arrangements
- Contacting customers via telephone, fax, mail, and e-mail
Sales Assistance
- Providing administrative support to the Sales team
- Assisting the Sales team with preparation for travel, meetings, and trade events
- Confirming appointments and sourcing new leads prior to travel
- Assisting with sales travel follow-up, preparing packages, pricing, brochures
- Assisting the Sales team with research, quoting and order processing
Marketing Assistance
- Assisting with e-commerce functions
- Fulfilling Marketing materials requests
- Maintaining literature, samples and media supplies and distributing to the Sales team
- Assisting with the collection of electronic marketing collateral for the HXW website
- Maintaining sample inventory and preparing/submitting requests for replenishment
- Logging, tracking, and following up on sample products sent to customer
- Maintaining and logging Marketing collateral shipments for DHL and UPS budget tracking
- Maintaining electronic Marketing collateral and vendor presentations via a shared system
- Assisting the Sales Director with special projects
- Working with the Sales team to prepare Sales & Marketing correspondence and campaigns
- Providing Marketing assistance for HornerXpress International as needed.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
- Team-player mentality
- PC literate (Windows, Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Language skills a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to attend company training programs, including seminars on campus and elsewhere in Florida, both in and out of normal working hours
- Involvement in continuous education and training, to improve knowledge of products and processes
- Achieving and maintaining Certified Pool Operator certification
- Consistent attendance and reliability
- Positive performance reviews
