Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Inside Sales Representative to oversee business development for corporate lodging and hotel accounts in the oil and gas, medical, and corporate industries. This role involves proactive outbound sales efforts, lead generation, and relationship building to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
Essential Position Functions
- Lead Generation & Business Development
- Make outbound calls to potential clients, including warm leads, cold call lists, and referrals.
- Build rapport and establish strong relationships with decision-makers in target industries.
- Research and develop account lists, identifying key contacts within prospective organizations.
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in CRM (Pipedrive) with accurate documentation.
- Execute cold calling, email campaigns, and follow-up efforts to nurture leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Schedule prospect meetings for the business development team and coordinate communications between customers and sales representatives.
- Manage the “do not call” list and ensure compliance with outreach guidelines.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to tailor sales strategies effectively.
- Sales Administration & Support
- Report on KPIs and other lead generation metrics, providing insights into continuous improvement.
- Manage tools and system administration within Pipedrive and other sales platforms.
- Update account status, contact details, and lead progress within Pipedrive.
- Organize and prioritize outreach efforts, ensuring timely follow-up and lead nurturing.
- Document and upload prospect meeting notes from voice-to-text and email interactions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Requirements
- 2 years of inside sales, telemarketing, or business development experience preferred.
- Strong ability to make high-volume outbound calls (150-200 calls per week).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive approach.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain focus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Pipedrive preferred) and general computer skills, to include Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the sales and business development teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
