ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW :

Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit that promotes healthy social and emotional development for children living with serious and chronic illnesses, by matching them with college athletic teams. The team provides an extended support network for the children and families using a strengths-based, future-focused perspective. This two-year therapeutic mentoring program provides children with a true sense of belonging and focuses on building confidence and resilience while encouraging healthy behaviors.

To date, Team IMPACT has matched over 3,500 kids on over 750 campuses nationally, and 75,000 student athletes have participated in the program. Founded in Boston, MA in 2011, Team IMPACT has regional offices in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas.

POSITION SUMMARY

Team IMPACT is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and entrepreneurial Regional Executive Director (RED) to drive continued growth and impact across the Northeast region. The RED, a member of Team IMPACT’s Leadership Group, will be responsible for achieving ambitious revenue and programmatic goals, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and advancing the organization's mission to create life-changing opportunities for children and families. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Regional Executive Director will manage and grow the donor base in New York and Boston among other areas across the Northeast, expand the organization’s funding base, and serve as a critical representative of Team IMPACT within the philanthropic, medical, athletic, and corporate communities. The salary range for this position is $155K - $175K annually.

The RED will oversee regional strategy and execution while benefiting from collaboration with a strong peer network of Regional Executive Directors, regional and national staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising and Revenue Growth :

  • Drive ambitious regional fundraising goals through a successful major gifts' strategy, corporate partnerships, signature events, and donor stewardship.
  • Build and grow major gifts, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.
  • In conjunction with the Program team support third-party fundraising efforts on college and university campuses, marathons, young professionals' events, etc.

Leadership and Advisory Boards :

  • Lead Regional Advisory Boards in Boston and NYC, fostering alignment with fundraising, partnerships, and program goals.
  • Programmatic Impact :

  • Oversee Northeast program growth and execution, ensuring high-quality matches and deepen partnerships with medical and athletic communities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Cultivate relationships with donors, regional leaders, philanthropic community and corporate partners.
  • Brand Awareness and Media Partnerships :

  • Collaborate with the National Marketing Team to increase Team IMPACT’s regional brand awareness and visibility, building strong media partnerships working with sports directors, collaborating with local children’s hospitals, and partner schools.
  • Collaboration and Innovation :

  • Actively participate in Team IMPACT’s learning community of regional leadership and national staff adding to a strong unified organizational culture.
  • Share best practices and innovations within a national peer network and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Serve as a national leader participating in decision-making and strategic planning fueling Team IMPACT’s expansion.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for Team IMPACT’s mission and the families and student athletes.
  • A successful track-record in entrepreneurial or high-growth environments; motivated by the opportunity to build and grow ideas, initiatives, or organizations.
  • A proven record in fundraising from a variety of sources; specific expertise in major gifts, individual giving, and corporate partnerships highly preferred
  • Display highly attuned instincts for authentic donor stewardship.
  • Experience and relationships in the Boston and NYC philanthropic and corporate sectors.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the ability to interact with diverse external audiences.
  • Must be driven, creative, entrepreneurial, and ambitious. A magnet for relationships and resources
  • Strong management experience building and motivating a team.
  • A belief in the power of sports teams as a vehicle for mentorship, social-emotional development, confidence, joy, camaraderie, and connection
