Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly manages Plant Management team and all departments through subordinate managers/supervisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Purpose: Directs and coordinates activities of organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. Designs and implements a business strategy that ensures the facility will be a quality, on-time, low-cost supplier of parts and components to customers by performing the following duties personally and/or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
- Manage all facets of facility operation. Develop, implement, and successfully complete short and long term objectives for plant operations.
- Evaluate capacity (materials, facility, people) to produce parts and components maximizing the utilization of facility assets.
- Develop, implement and successfully achieve improved manufacturing methods.
- Maintain positive employee relations.
- Confers with plant management to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions and departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.
- Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
- Directs and coordinates programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize returns on investments and to increase productivity.
- Plans and develops industrial, labor, and public relations policies designed to improve company’s image and relations with customers, employees, stockholders and public.
- Evaluates performance of management for compliance with established policies and objectives of firm and contributions in attaining objectives.
- Coordinates engineering, production, scheduling, quality assurance, finance and accounting, purchasing and sales in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by TEAM Industries Inc.
- Maintains a commitment to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrate leadership commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and coach subordinates on their impact on TEAM QMS objectives.
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
