We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team on various projects. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that electrical installations are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete installations.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.
- Conduct testing of electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) while performing all electrical work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
