Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with sheet metal, fabricating, and installing various metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. If you are passionate about craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.

Use precision tools such as shears, brakes, and punches to cut and shape metal materials.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Troubleshoot and repair existing sheet metal installations as needed.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Utilize an Ohmmeter for testing electrical connections in sheet metal applications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.

Familiarity with safety practices related to working with metal materials.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using an Ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay : $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
