Job Title : Commercial Project Manager

Job Summary :
The Commercial Project Manager at Kline Electric plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of commercial electrical projects. This position involves comprehensive oversight of project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with various stakeholders, including Foremen, contractors, and clients. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial electrical systems, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning and Execution :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, including initial job walk-throughs, site layouts, and ongoing project monitoring.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.Oversee the daily activities of the project team, ensuring that work is performed according to established standards and that any issues are promptly addressed.Quality Control and Safety Compliance :Conduct regular inspections of project sites to ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Monitor employee work techniques, providing guidance and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Evaluate the aesthetics, functionality, and overall quality of completed work, ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded.Resource Coordination :Organize and manage the procurement and release of materials and equipment, ensuring that all necessary resources are available when needed.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and delivery schedules for materials and services.Financial Management :Track and manage project expenses, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that any additional work is properly billed.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices, change orders, job logs, and other required documentation to support project financials.Client Relations :Act as the primary liaison between the company and clients, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring that any concerns or requests are promptly addressed.
Conduct post-project reviews with clients to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.Documentation and Reporting :Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, including daily logs, submittals, O&M manuals, and other relevant documentation.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Branch Manager, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.Minimum Requirements :
Licensing and Experience :Possession of a valid State of Nebraska Journeyman License or higher.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical project management or a related field, with demonstrated success in leading and completing projects on time and within budget.Education and Skills :A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or a degree in a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to effectively use phones and email for communication and coordination.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, expectations, and feedback to team members and clients.Physical Demands :
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed in various work environments.Capacity to talk, hear, taste, or smell as required for the job.Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds, with assistance available for heavier objects.Adequate vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment :

Schedule : Day shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties
