As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Interior Designer. This position will start as an internship position, with the potential to be offered a full-time formal position. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Interior Designer to support our development team in all phases of project planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for real estate development. We are open to hiring recent graduates (OPT sponsorship available) preferably with work experience in construction, project management, engineering, architecture-related fields. Potential candidates should live within commutable distance from the company office and dedicate working collaboratively with other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or entry-level professionals with related backgrounds.
- Work experience in related role preferred
- Mandarin & English Proficiency required
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and previous projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Creative thinker with an eye for color, texture, and detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts for various spaces, including residential, commercial, and public areas.
- Create mood boards, material palettes, and renderings to present design ideas to clients.
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications, encompassing layouts, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Plan and execute luxury home staging projects to enhance property appeal for potential buyers.
- Select and arrange furniture, artwork, and accessories tailored to each property's unique characteristics.
- Oversee 2-6 installations weekly, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Communicate effectively with Mandarin and English-speaking clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Present design proposals and staging plans clearly and professionally.
