What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Site Manager position at Team MJV?
Overview
Team MJV is a Building Service Contractor throughout Indiana and Michigan.
At Team MJV, we partner with our customers and work as a Team to ensure all expectations are achieved. Our unique coaching philosophy creates a strong and cohesive working environment for our team members. This methodology creates a continuous mentoring environment within all levels of our organization. Our coaches guide, encourage and teach each team member to effectively execute our individualized plan for each customer. The knowledge gained from providing over 30 additional services allows us to handle the most routine to the most unique problems. In addition, our Team Members are proactively eliminating problems before they occur. We pride our Team on being professional. Uniformed team members take pride in their work and provide the highest quality service. Each team member will be polite, friendly and will provide the best service for our customer partner's facility. Job Skills / Requirements Build upon, grow and maintain relationships with our current team members and our customer partners. Provide proactive leadership to the team including training, conflict resolution, organization of duties, equipment and supplies, scheduling, supply ordering, security and safety of our team and any other detail to maintain a successful site location. Maintain and protect the positive representation of Team MJV and its image at all times.
Continually increase team culture through positive recruitment and coaching of team members to care about Team MJV’s mission of providing a safe and healthy environment. Additional Information / Benefits RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Motivate Team Members and create positive company culture
2. Find replacements and/or fill in for absent Team Members when applicable
3. Order supplies on weekly, biweekly or monthly basis as needed
4. Inventory control and organization of supply room, janitor closets/cages, and office
5. Keep equipment clean and in proper working order
6. Report equipment problems for repair when necessary
7. Recruitment and training
8. Submit all paperwork to the office for new hires and terminations
9. Team member evaluations
10. Communicate with management at job sites
11. Conduct monthly walk-thru with Customer
12. Resolve any cleaning or personnel issues in a timely manner
