Position Purpose:
Team Modern is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our IT team. The Information Technology Support role will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up to date with the latest technological advancements. This role plays a critical part in our mission of "Creating Better Experiences...The Modern Way."
Essential Functions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
- Train and educate employees on IT best practices and procedures.
- Any additional task assigned by manager; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is required.
- Proven work experience as an IT Support/Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Experience with VMware virtual servers.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
- Experience with IBM iSeries is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Additional Information
Schedule: Monday-Friday; start time: 8:00am; Expected hours per week: 40 /-. After hours/weekend hours required as needed for server maintenance, after hours troubleshooting, and resolving support issues.
Physical Demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions: Work takes place in a well-lit, comfortable office space.
