As a Loan Officer Assistant with 3 years of experience, you will play a vital role in supporting our Loan Officers in the seamless execution of their daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Loan Officers to collect, review, and organize client documentation required for loan applications.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan packages before submission for processing.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, providing updates on loan status and addressing inquiries throughout the application process.
Assist in coordinating with underwriters, processors, and other team members to expedite the processing of loans and facilitate timely closings.
Engage with external parties such as appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers to facilitate property evaluations and insurance coverage.
Uphold an up-to-date understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and lending guidelines to ensure all activities remain within legal and ethical parameters.
Assist in evaluating applicants' financial profiles and credit reports to assess eligibility for various loan products.
Conduct preliminary reviews of loan applications to identify potential discrepancies or areas of concern.
Utilize loan management software and tools to monitor application progress, maintain accurate client information, and generate necessary reports.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
3 years of experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Mortgage Processor, or similar role within the mortgage industry.
