Team One Credit Union is seeking a full-time Branch Team Lead for the Bay City Branch, located at 401 E Midland St. The Branch Team Lead is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager and handling the day-to-day operations of the branch. The Branch Team Lead coordinates with the Branch Manager to implement operational goals, objectives, and other support functions as assigned.  The Branch Team Lead ensures operational efficiency of the branch and plays an active role in member service and business growth, while supporting the Branch Manager in leadership and management tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and demonstrate both internal and external Service Standards at all times.
  • Support a culture focused on a commitment to delivering on our vision, mission, and core values.
  • Demonstrate a proficient understanding of the Credit Union's products and services, loan processes, and financial counseling.
  • Maintain knowledge of and complete required trainings related to all operation related services, technology, and procedures.
  • Manage and account for all branch cash including the vault and ITM supply.  Keep optimum cash on hand, maintain cash limits, maintain a cash drawer, and balance daily.
  • Possess knowledge of collections procedures within area of responsibility.
  • Provide effective new member onboarding and engagement by introducing the Credit Union’s products and services and addressing members’ questions.
  • Deepen existing relationships by identifying solutions for members based on their needs and improving their financial lives.
  • Drive growth of member relationships and achieve corporate goals in financial performance (deposits, loans, and non-interest income) through calls, referral follow-through, and sales activities.
  • Identify and develop new business/lending relationships within the Credit Union’s target market and facilitate referrals to other lines of business.
  • Ensure all member and staff requests, routine and complex, are managed and fulfilled effectively.
  • Handle escalated member complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prioritize an excellent member experience within the branch and community, understanding the needs of the member.
  • Support Branch Manager in achieving sales targets, goals, and objectives.
  • Assist Branch Manager in developing skills and knowledge of team members and training new hires while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to set clear expectations, weekly touch bases, provide feedback and recognize achievements.
  • Step into the role of Branch Manager in their absence and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for process improvement that can enhance operational efficiency, reduce risks, and drive cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist with special projects that support the improvement of service quality, process quality, and Credit Union data.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of robbery and security procedures.
  • Maintain BSA compliance including Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), Money Services Business (MSB), Monetary Instrument Log (MIL), & Customer Identification Program (CIP) activity.

  • Assist Branch Manager with monthly reviews to discuss previous month’s performance, set expectations, and develop plans to improve their performance.
  • Demonstrate enthusiastic support of the Credit Union’s vision, mission, core values, and long-term objectives.
  • Perform job duties within set bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, internal and external service standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain highly motivated, well-trained staff while maintaining effective employee relations.
  • Provide support and share successes with team members.
