What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Mortgage Processor position at Team One Credit Union?
Team One Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer. This is a part-time position, located within the Saginaw Township Branch, at 4075 McCarty Rd. This role is responsible for expediting timely and accurate mortgage and home equity files, from post-application to post-closing.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a financial institution or title company preferred
- Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships with vendors
- Desire to be an integral part of a small, well-functioning team
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills
- Must pay close attention to detail
Job duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Ordering appraisals, title/lien insurance, flood certifications, attorney documents, and other items required for closing
- Coordinating closings with realtors, purchasers, sellers, title companies, and loan closer
- Verifying the clearance of all underwriting conditions (prior to closing)
- Preparing closing packages, along with disbursing and reconciling all real estate loans
