Job Summary
Team One Alaska is seeking dependable and compassionate EMT-1s to provide basic life support (BLS) care at scheduled community events, job sites, and remote locations across the state. EMTs work as part of a team under the oversight of Team One's Medical Director, delivering professional, non-invasive care in diverse settings. This role is ideal for EMTs who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a meaningful impact outside of traditional ambulance transport.
Responsibilities
· Deliver EMT-1 level care for minor injuries such as sprains, strains, cuts, allergic reactions, and minor illnesses.
· Immediately contact 911 for patients who are unstable or request ambulance transport.
· Accurately document patient care and interactions per Team One protocols.
· Maintain the inventory, cleanliness, and readiness of assigned medical kits and equipment.
· Communicate effectively with clients, event organizers, and onsite personnel.
· Represent Team One professionally in public and high-visibility environments.
· Attend ongoing training, safety briefings, and skills refreshers as required.
· Participate in medical standby coverage and support special projects or deployments as scheduled.
Requirements
- Current Alaska EMT-1 certification
- Current CPR-BLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both urban and remote settings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
