Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the facility equipment and functionality of the facility in accordance with safety processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives.

Job Functions/Duties:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout the facilities
• Performing simple duties and responsibilities related to cleaning, maintaining, and repairing equipment and the facilities
• Performing maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, drywall, and painting throughout the facilities
• Detecting faulty operations and defective material/equipment by troubleshooting/diagnosing and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required preventative maintenance, repairs, and service
• Safely using a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties
• Performing lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal for facilities
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned
• Ability to read and respond to maintenance tickets via technological platform(s) (smart phone, tablet, computer)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Two or more years of maintenance experience is preferred (not required)
• Provides personal tools and personal protective equipment is a plus (not required)
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and Insurance with clean driving record (required)
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (required)

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred (not required)
