Team Red Dog is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our client’s specialized IT team supporting the HoloLens program. This high-impact role combines cloud and virtual hardware expertise with networking and troubleshooting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure services, Arista, Aruba, and Palo Alto hardware/software.
This role is based in Redmond, WA, requiring onsite work 5 days a week (with potential flexibility in the future).

Opportunity Overview:
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation technology within Microsoft’s HoloLens program. The specialized IT team supports both physical and virtual hardware in a hybrid cloud environment. Candidates will gain hands-on experience with enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and hardware integration.
This is an enterprise-level role that will require working on-site at Microsoft’s Redmond campus, providing exposure to cutting-edge cloud and networking technologies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues within Azure, Arista, Aruba, and Palo Alto environments.
- Adjust network sizes to meet volume and capacity demands.
- Plan and implement network upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Design, build, and configure network hardware and software for integration into HoloLens and enterprise systems.
- Monitor and optimize cloud networking infrastructure, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
- 20% working with physical hardware, 70% with cloud and virtual hardware, and 10% troubleshooting/helpdesk ticket work.
Qualifications/Experience:
Required:
- 2-4 years of overall experience in networking and cloud infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, Arista, Aruba, and Palo Alto networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in an enterprise multi-site hybrid environment.
Preferred:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is a plus.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise networking architectures.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
