RV PDI Technician – Ready RV:
RV PDI technician experience is required. Only individuals who know how to test LP, electric, water, and other systems will be considered.
Ready RV, located in Middlebury, IN, is looking to hire someone willing to learn the skills necessary to be a superior general laborer for our RV PDI and repair shop. The primary purpose of this position is to perform PDIs (Pre-Delivery Inspections) and/or repairs to any RV assigned.
You will perform fresh water, sanitation, LP, electrical and all functional tests on the RV units. You will also troubleshoot all appliances and accessories that come with the unit, as well as, testing brakes, checking the chassis, and 12-volt lighting associated with travel.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of RV PDI technician experience required
- Familiar with all RV systems (water, LP, batteries, jacks, etc)
- Responsibility

- Able to work in a small group and individually
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to document, thru pictures and words, how you fixed any issues
- Able to supply all necessary tools

Physical Requirements:
This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, and sometimes working in awkward positions. The tech is required to work on RV roofs and underneath the RV. This includes, but not limited to, on the floor, on a creeper, or on a ladder.
