Team Select is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Authorizations Specialist to manage insurance requests, appeals, and authorizations for Nursing services in the home for medically needy patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Medicaid and other Insurance Authorization Management: Handle requests, appeals, and authorizations, ensuring timely compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, organized records for easy retrieval and regulatory compliance.
- Communication: Serve as liaison between Team Select and insurance agencies, primarily Medicaid programs.
- Appeals: Prepare and track Medicaid appeals, ensuring necessary documentation is complete.
- Ensure compliance and support the team’s efficiency in the authorizations processes.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required;
Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; database experience is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, on-site, fast-paced environment, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
