Together Homecare of Northwest Indiana, now officially known as Team Select is actively searching for registered Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our home healthcare team.
This specific position provides an opportunity for a part-time schedule as a registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work one on one with our clients. Together Homecare of Northwest Indiana services a wide variety of clients who need a caregiver to maintain their independence in the comfort of their home. We have clients who need care in various environments. Caregivers work in out client's home as well as take them to doctors’ appointments, errands, etc. Prior to working with a client, Together Homecare can provide you the opportunity to meet a few families and assess the environment where you would be providing care. We will work to find a schedule that works for YOU and YOUR availability.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:
- Provide home healthcare services in client's residences
- Assist with client’s personal care activities
- Assist clients with mobility
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Maintain client's care records and document provided services
- Instruct and counsel clients and families on diet and exercise
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Skills:
- Proven working experience as Home Health Aide or CNA
- Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
