Team Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring the accuracy of results. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in our client facility.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2pm
Pay: $18
Responsibilities:
- Work safely with hazardous chemicals including sulfuric acid and in an industrial environment.
- Perform lab work such as sample grinding, splitting, titration, photometric analysis.
- Basic skills in Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and use a dolly to take wastes out to plant.
- Drive electric cart to obtain samples in plant.
- Collaborate with more senior lab technicians to accomplish lower level skilled work in lab
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation.
