Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized part time Administrative Assistant to support our not-for-profit organization that benefits NYC youth. Some knowledge of Donor Perfect and Microsoft Word is a must. While training will be in person, most of the work can be done remotely at times that fit your schedule. There is room for expansion of duties and hours worked, up to full time.
Current Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Donor Perfect to maintain up-to-date records, including processing donations, and creating and sending acknowledgement letters.
- Create and maintain office files and documents for cross referencing donations.
- Maintain and dedupe the Donor Perfect database.
- Communicate regularly with the Program Treasurer.
Room for Growth to Perform Additional Responsibilities
- Social Media posting and updates over multiple platforms.
- Event planning.
- Assist in applying for, obtaining and monitoring permits from the NYC Department of Education.
- Handle emails and phone calls regarding program scheduling.
- Assist in scheduling weekly staffing requirements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
