Job Summary:
This role will join the Aspen Dental Enterprise Product Management team. In this role you will provide the voice of the user and the voice of the business for critical Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) impacting capabilities in our patient management system platform (EMR), This platform is used by Aspen team members on our RCM Team in the corporate office and our dental offices by non-clinical personnel (Office Managers, Patient Support Reps., etc.) to support RCM activities. Your mission will be to improve the accuracy of our RCM processes, automate as much as possible and to make simple where human interaction is needed.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities:
Discovery oriented: You will proactively seek to know the pain points of your Dental Office Users and the RCM Operations Team business stakeholders. You will be in the data for your product area and will have the skills to analyze databases and run SQL queries. You will dive deeply to understand the problem areas to transform current manual non-scalable processes into technology driven RCM solutions. You will own your product roadmap.
Business-minded: You will frame your recommendations in the context of business value. You will construct models to illustrate soft benefits and hard financial benefits in partnership with the RCM Operations Team and Finance.
High-Impact Communications: You will be a persuasive and passionate advocate for your product and its users. You will be skilled in authoring clear problem statements, high-level business requirements and have experience authoring user stories and can do so when needed.
Agile-Minded: You will have user-empathy to work with UX on product designs and enough technical knowledge to work with Business Analysts and Developers in an iterative manner. You will be skilled at defining product MVPs and tenacious enough to continue iterating to achieve the product vision.
Cross-functional Influential Leadership: You will have the presence amongst people who do not report to you to motivate and mobilize them into action.
Stakeholder Management: You will have the interpersonal and negotiation skills needed to manage a wide variety of wants and needs from stakeholders. You will be an effective negotiator to drive alignment and maximize value.
Prioritization: You will drive rigorous prioritization for your product area and be able to get others aligned to craft short-term plans and long-term roadmaps.
Drive for Results: You will build products whose performance can be measured. Dashboards and reports will be part of your MVPs.
Delivery oriented: Skilled as a member of the Agile team. Strikes the needed balance in authoring Requirements that enables UX Designers, Business Analysts and Developers to do great work.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of product management experience. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record of helping healthcare organizations optimize and improve revenue cycle management processes by not only implementing industry best practices, but also improving upon them.
Demonstrated success in executing and directing product management activities.
Ideal candidate also has the technical and operations acumen to understand the implications of data, back-end services and operations on the user experience and vice versa.
Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics; MBA, MIS, or MS desired.

Compensation: $140,000-$165,000 annually
