What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Laborer position at Team Ten Llc?
Job Description & Duties:
Under the leadership of the Material & Security Manager, the primary duties of the Laborer Crew are to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Outside Department.
The following responsibilities are the essential job functions. This list is not all inclusive and other duties may be expected based on work load and need.
1. Disposition and unload all fiber deliveries, starch, tank trucks, deliver large items from storehouse, load trucks, coordinate rail car movement, operate shifter to move rail cars, clean empty chemical totes and transport to staging area for shipment, stage and load broke shipments, and miscellaneous material and supply movements.
2. Perform outside activities related to grounds; clean-up, pulper dock, wood yard, snow removal and grass mowing.
3. Organize the cell room as necessary for month end inventory counts.
4. Ability to access e-mail, safety forms, and schedules using a crew designated computer.
5. Maintain a neat and clean office area.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with coworkers.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Previous fork truck experience is highly preferred.
