Job Summary:
The Tractor Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling, installing, and inspecting parts and components of tractors and related equipment. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and machinery to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble tractor components and systems, such as frames, hydraulics, and electrical systems, according to technical specifications and work instructions.
- Inspect parts for defects or damages and ensure they meet quality standards before installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines while working with machinery and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Test assembled products to verify proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and report any issues or inconsistencies in parts, processes, or final assemblies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company cleanliness and safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assemble heavy parts and components.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery and tools.
- May involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Requires adherence to safety standards and use of protective equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
