Primary Responsibilities:
As an Engineer on our team, you will perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings.
Specific Duties:
- Assist in preparing/revising drawings, datasheets, calculations, specifications, plans, and procedures per project requirements
- Responsible for routine design calculations
- Perform basic Analysis and Design with guidance
- Assist in maintaining department standards
- Prepare Civil/Structural design documents using Revit
- Assist licensed Engineers with designs and project coordination
- Assist licensed Engineers with material take offs and estimates for projects
- Participates in weekly project meetings
- Champion TSP

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
- Prior structural engineering experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position operates in an office environment, regularly working in indoor conditions and on a computer. The noise level is usually moderate. This job entails sitting and collaborating with team members and stakeholders, along with communicating via phone/video. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, and lift/move objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Some overnight travel may be required.
