Job Description

One of the premier Cardiovascular clinics is seeking a Patient Account Collector who will follow up on denied claims and ensure payment from insurance carriers. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!

Responsibilities :

  • Expedite and maximize payment of insurance medical claims by contacting insurance payers and patients by telephone or website
  • Assist with inquiries from outside parties regarding account status
  • Review invoices to verify payments and contractual adjustments
  • Resolve all denials, and requests for information, including appeals
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and make proper notations in EPIC

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required
  • Experience in an ambulatory center or hospital setting is preferred
  • EMR : Epic experience is a strong plus
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading, organizational, and interpersonal skills are highly preferred
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

  • 18.00 / hr. - $22.00 / hr.

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00 / hr. not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
