Salary Ra t e : $ 24 .00 / hr.
Location : Houston, TX (Downtown Houston)
Shift : Monday – Friday 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
Employment Type : Temporary
The Harris County Public Health Department and Team1Medical are teaming up to seek a Peer Support Specialist to join the team! In this role, the Peer Support Specialist is a crucial team member who will ensure participants receive tailored services to meet their unique needs. This role will service provisions to focus on working with clients to enhance their recovery.
What you will be doing :
- Provide ongoing case management services for applicable participants; monitor the case through approved closing and maintain client records and all other required documentation with discretion.
- Manage crises by assessing, deciding, and acting following standards and laws in emergencies involving the health and safety of clients being compromised, support participants in daily decision-making, and resolution of minor problems.
