Overview :
The Manager of Billing Applications will include project management and coordination of departmental strategic objectives across multiple applications and groups. They will drive and coordinate enhancements, changes and updates for employees on TeamHealth's Health Care Financial Services (HCFS) core applications.
The position is also responsible for providing support to OnBase and related processes as well as the IDX software application system (ex : BAR, Anesthesia Module, TES, DBMS, Informatics, and Statements). This includes the management of applications related system issues and support of the billing centers for resolution.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Works closely with technical and operational stakeholders to review business processes, challenges with software, and best practices for efficient workflow.
- Acts as project manager when needed to deliver timely solutions for HCFS Operations.
- Receives and tracks application support issues through the HCFS applications ticketing software specifically related to any system issue while providing support for resolution of problem / issues.
- Works with project management and application development staff to evaluate software changes / enhancements and assists, as needed, with analysis, development, testing and deployment.
- Achieves and maintains expert-level system and process knowledge related to HCFS Revenue Cycle solutions.
- Travels to TeamHealth locations for technical and business process training, as needed, and to maintain relevant application knowledge base.
- Manages Senior Applications Analyst (OnBase Specialist) by providing supervision and resolution of OnBase security requests, user support and general health maintenance as well as OnBase modification / enhancement QA testing.
- Acts as a liaison for issues reported between HCFS Applications and the billing centers.
- Provides support and assistance to the other Applications Analysts in the department.
- Works under the direction of the HCFS Applications Director to establish completion time for projects and periodically report progress towards these goals.
- This position will follow departmental policies and procedures, with particular regard to testing methods, in order to ensure the integrity of the OnBase, GE an associated application systems.
