Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and efficient medical care to patients in the emergency department, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute injuries or illnesses.
- Round on patients, conduct thorough evaluations, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine.
- Valid state medical license (Kentucky) or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in both emergency medicine and hospital medicine is preferred but may not be required for all positions.
