About the Role
This leadership position will report directly to the Regional Medical Director and Vice President of Operations. As Facility Medical Director (FMD), you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with stakeholders, impacting clinical strategies and workflows, and improving value-based healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical strategies that promote evidence-based practice and patient satisfaction
- Manage the facility's clinical, financial, human, and capital resources
- Oversee full-time physicians and advanced practice clinicians
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be board certified in emergency medicine or internal medicine/family medicine with previous EM experience. A minimum of 2-5 years of leadership experience and effective leadership skills are also required.
