Spacemakers and Carolina Closet is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Market Manager responsible for managing and leading sales team to achieve sales objectives and revenue targets. This includes developing strategies to increase market share, fostering builder relationships, and ensuring the effective training and development of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet the organization’s sales targets.
- Create and manage sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze sales data and performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to sales team members.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales staff as needed.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Manage and allocate resources to achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with other departments (marketing, customer support, etc.) to align sales efforts.
Builder/Professional Group Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with builders and professional groups.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand existing builder accounts.
- Create builder/professional group growth strategies to implement across markets.
- Identify resources and opportunities to pursue new builder/professional group growth.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and analyze sales reports to track progress toward sales targets.
- Present sales performance results to senior management.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to optimize and strengthen the sales strategy ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
Sales Training & Development:
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs for the sales team, working with inside sales support.
- Provide coaching and support to improve the team’s skills and performance.
- Ensure the sales team remains knowledgeable about products, services, and industry trends.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional strategies and product offerings.
- Work closely with customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role.
- Strong experience in B2C sales (Business to Consumer)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Expert in Closet Pro
- Knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in the closet/home goods industry.
- Advanced proficiency with sales analytics and performance tracking tools.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Occasional travel required to meet clients or attend conferences/home shows/NARI events.
- The role may involve working extended hours to meet targets.
