Transportation Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Dispatcher to join our team in Kokomo, IN. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 4 years of dispatch experience handling freight of all kinds. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication abilities.

· Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

· Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule freight shipments efficiently
Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure on-time deliveries
Monitor freight movements and address any issues that arise
Utilize Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel) for reporting and documentation
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity
Work collaboratively with others to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

6 months to 4 years of dispatch experience in freight transportation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel)
Strong ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
