Job Description:
Drivers will travel in a group of 3-5 drivers, one per vehicle, and each group will work with a Lead Driver. Drivers will stay with the same group from pick up to drop off locations. This is an OTR, CMV driving position that will require the driver to stay out on the road for multiple days, depending on drop off locations. Drivers will act in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Drivers are responsible for the transport of each of their vehicles and must maintain daily, accurate DOT driver logs. Drivers are also responsible for the condition of their vehicles during transport and will be responsible for any damage incurred during each trip. Drivers must be on time to both pick up and drop off locations. Drivers must complete all paperwork and turn it into their Lead Driver on time.
Drivers must have good communication skills and be able to work in a group setting. Job Requirements:
Drivers must have at least 2 full years of verifiable OTR, CMV driving experience within the last 3 years. Drivers must have a CDL Class A or Class B with School Bus and Passenger endorsements. Drivers must have relatively clean reports and employment history. Must have knowledge of DOT HOS rules and regulations and keep daily, accurate DOT logs while transporting for us.
Must turn in all paperwork/documents on time and have good communication skills. Must be able to work in a group setting with other drivers and share the work load and responsibilities for each transport. This is an Independent Contracted Driving Position, NOT an Owner/Operator or Company Driving Position. This is an OTR Position, NOT A LOCAL OR REGIONAL POSITION.
No equipment required. Wage Range: 0.32 - 0.40 per mile
General Description of Benefits: We are non-force dispatch. Drivers can choose when they want to work for us. Drivers are paid per mile. Transport from our pick up location in High Point, NC to drop off location anywhere in the US & Canada is provided, along with the transport back to High Point, NC.
Lodging and fuel costs are also provided. Drivers who transport into Canada are eligible for an extra .02/mile and a $125 bonus payout at end of trip. Same day pay if all requirements are met.
