Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging activities that promote early childhood education while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique developmental needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Lead assistant teachers in supporting curriculum and children's safety.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive atmosphere for all students, including those with special education needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Experience
- Initial ECE Certificate General Short Certificate REQUIRED
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
