The Internal Audit function is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance to management on the effectiveness of the organization's risk management, control, and governance processes for the accounting department.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. The candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing. The candidate will have a strong understanding of internal auditing standards and procedures. The candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n- Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits of the organization's accounting records and process
- Provide consulting services to the organization on risk management, control, and governance for the accounting process
- Identify and assess risks to the organization
- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures
- Gather and analyze audit evidence
- Prepare and issue audit reports
- Follow up on audit recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
- Strong understanding of internal auditing standards and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
