A Day in the Life :
Lead, mentor, and manage a global, distributed team of Data Scientists / Machine Learning Engineers.Work closely with company executives to influence and steer the strategic direction of the company's AI initiatives, with a particular focus on generative AI.Drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge generative models and AI solutions.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and guide the team to provide data-driven solutions.Effectively communicate complex quantitative analyses and AI strategies to executive stakeholders and non-technical team members.What it takes :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.5 years of industry experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proven experience in leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, and particularly Generative AI.Proficiency in Python and familiar with libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.Knowledge of SQL or similar database management systems.Experience with tools like Plantir and C3Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, navigating complex decisions and driving impactful outcomes.Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to challenges.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience and influence top-tier executives.Location Requirements :
